Annual Hospital Gala

SPONSORSHIP AND RECOGNITION OPPORTUNTIES
Yes, it is true! Soon the frigid gloom of winter will be but a faint memory, swept away by balmy coastal breezes Dancing Into Spring. With that pleasant theme in mind, the Carteret General Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the 5th Annual Hospital Gala, to be held on the first Saturday of Spring, March 21, 2009.
The elegant oceanfront Dunes Club has been reserved for an evening of exceptional food and extraordinary a silent auction a creative and fun way for the community to support the development of the new Cancer Treatment Center on the Carteret General Hospital campus.
A dream coming true for many, the plans for the new center include consolidating into one modern facility all the cancer treatment services now located across the Hospital property. The project is still in the planning stage, however, the new Cancer Treatment Center will enhance the exceptional care now provided through a wide range of treatments and services, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, pain management, physical/social/spiritual therapy, and wellness counseling.
As an active member of this community, you are well aware of the importance of providing our local health- care professionals with access to modern facilities equipped with state-of-the-art technologies. Since 1967 the hospital has partnered with individuals, businesses, and organizations to expand our community-based pro- grams and services to better respond to the unique healthcare needs of our neighbors.
There are many factors that make Carteret County a preferred place to live, a great place to visit, and an ideal place to retire. In addition to the beautiful maritime environment, the affordable cost of living, and the coastal rhythm of life, more and more people are recognizing the significant value added to their lives by a community-based healthcare facility like Carteret General Hospital.
Newcomers and old-timers alike are surprised to learn that the county hospital does not receive any support from county tax dollars and must rely heavily on private donations to assure the continuance of the quality care that has become our tradition. Our goal is to always be self-supporting through stringent fiscal manage- ment and local philanthropic support.
That is why we would like for you to join us in our pursuit for excellence by supporting the 2009 Hospital Gala on March 21. Please complete the attached Sponsorship Form and include it with your check, payable to the CGH Foundation, in the preaddressed envelope.
IMPORTANT! To have the name of your business or organization included on the invitation, please call (252) 808-6647 as soon as possible to make the invitation printing deadline. All other sponsorship forms should be mailed to the Foundation office.
Please consider your sponsorship today as a direct investment in the future health of your family, your employ- ees, your neighbors, your friends, and yourself. Thank you for your support of this life-changing program.
